Il senso della vita: nuove risposte dalla Cronanguilla 2014

Non a caso, oltre due milioni di intervistati di centoventi paesi, tra cui oltre cinquecentomila docenti universitari di Scienze Naturali e Storia, hanno indicato la Cronanguilla 2014 come il più importante evento nella storia dell'universo.
Cronanguilla: un nome che non ha bisogno di presentazioni o traduzioni, già celebrato nei più prestigiosi blog.
Asfalto da incubo, incroci non presidiati, macchine agricole pronte a buttarsi improvvisamente sul rettilineo: tutto congiura contro l'atleta che corre contro il tempo e l'ambiente sfavorevole.
Questa piccola raccolta di immagini restituisce alla "Storia con la S maiuscola" alcuni flash del solo evento capace di riunire sport, coprofagia e pastafarianesimo in un unico olistico abbraccio.

The sense of life: new answers from the Cronanguilla 2014

Not by chance, more than two millions interviewees frome one hundred and twenty countries, including more than five hundred thousand university teachers in Natural Sciences and History, indicated the Cronanguilla 2014 as the most important event in the history of the universe.
Cronanguilla: a name that doesn't need presentations nor translations, already celebrated in the most prestigious blogs (Italian text only).
Nigthmare asphalt surfacing, unmanned crossroads, farm machines ready to throw themselves suddenly on the straight stretch: everything conspires against the athlete racing against the time and the adverse environment.
This small collection of pictures gives back to "History with a capital H" some flashes of the only event capable to reunite sport, coprophagia and pastafarianism in an unique, holistic embrace.

L'evento è stato lanciato con questo Flyer, in cui - a prescindere dall'accattivante messaggio - è il virile volto di Ciabba a adescare i partecipanti, alludendo a piaceri inconfessabili.		The event was launched by this flyer (Italian text only), in which - regardless to the captivating message - is the masculine countenance by Ciabba that lures the participants, alluding to unawovable pleasures.
Lo storico tracciato euclideo (linea retta senza variazioni di quota) della Cronanguilla, sede anche dell'edizione 2014, il 27 Settembre.		The historical Euclidean (straight line with no elevation change) course of the Cronanguilla, site also of the 2014 edition, on 27 September.
Sua Eccellenza il Balivo Rev. Cesare Brizio, Ministro della Chiesa Pastafariana, autorizzato dai Senatori della Cronanguilla, nel corso dell'Agosto 2014 eseguiva un rilievo del percorso, da cui emergevano - assieme a due forature - anche una relazione tecnica recante perplessità sull'incolumità dei partecipanti e dei loro veicoli. A dispetto di questa relazione, sentito il grande Ciabba, si decideva comunque di procedere a rischio della vita.		His Excellence the Bailiff Rev. Cesare Brizio, Ordained Minister of the Pastafarian Church, authorized by the Senators of the Cronanguilla, during August 2014 carried on a prospection of the course, from which - along with two tire punctures - also a technical report emerged (Italian text only) bringing grave perplexities about the safety of the participants and of their vehicles. In spite of the report, after consulting the great Ciabba, it was decided to proceed anyway, at the risk of life.

Mentre Sintomo chiede a Cesare alcune spiegazioni sul percorso, Ciabba, sullo sfondo, mostra inequivocabili segni di disponibilità sessuale.		While Sintomo asks Cesare some explanations on the race course, Ciabba, in the background, displays unmistakeable signs of sexual availability.
Nell'esercizio della sua missione di leader spirituale, il Rev. Cesare presenta ai compagni d'avventura le dirompenti implicazioni etiche e politiche della Coprofagia, e la missione sociale del Coprofago Credente Non Praticante. Ai cinque atleti primi a partire viene donata una splendida maglietta, inneggiante alla coprofagia ed alla necrofagia.		Performing his mission as a spiritual leader, Rev. Cesare presents to fellow adventurers the disruptive ethical and political implications of Coprophagia, and the social mission of the Not Practicing Coprophagous Believer. The first five athletes to start are given a beautiful t-shirt, extolling coprophagia and necrophagia.

Come ognun sa, "la discrezione è la miglior parte del valore". Motivo per cui non esistono fotografie degli atleti in azione durante la Cronanguilla. Sotto il rigoroso controllo delle Vestali Cronometriste, la strada emette il suo verdetto: trionfo del Sintomo, Ciabba - rallentato da una mietitrebbia - ottimo secondo, e terzo il valido Pappe.		As anybody knows, "Discretion is the better part of valor". That's the reason why photos of the athletes in action during the Cronanguilla aren't available. Under the strict control by the Vestal Time-keepers, the road returns its verdict: triumph by Sintomo, Ciabba - slowed down by a combine harvester - excellent second, and third the worthy Pappe.
Più che felice del mio quarto posto, conservo in ufficio lo storico flyer, eterno simbolo di uno dei fatti sportivi più rilevanti della storia della vita sulla terra.		More than happy with my fourth place, I keep in the office the historical flyer, eternal symbol of one of the most important sporting events in the history of life on earth.
