I dedicated to the Lordship & Barony of Kilmarnock (Ayrshire, Scotland) this water-colour composition, freely inspired by the colours of the Ayre tartan and the other tartans illustrated in the Ayrshire tartan page.
In April 2005, this web page was unexpectedly noticed by the much honoured David Ayre, Baron of Kilmarnock, who kindly expressed his appreciation, and suggested to insert in this page a link to the Barony website.
