Canto simile a quello di Acheta domesticus. Il canto č una serie di melodiosi "criii" (versi) ripetuti pių o meno regolarmente con frequenza di circa 1 - 3 al sec. I versi variano nel numero di sillabe che contengono tra due e quattro. I maschi quando vicino ad una femmina emettono un canto di corteggiamento: un continuo fruscio mescolato a forti ed intensi schiocchi.
Song similar to that by Acheta domesticus. It sings most actively in the evening and night. The song consists of a series of melodious "kree"-sounds (echemes) repeated more or less regularly at the rate of about 1-3/s. Echemes vary in number of syllables they contain, between 2 and 4. Males of A. domesticus produce a courtship song in the vicinity of a female. It consists of a continuous rustling mixed with loud, high pitched ticks.
